EV-Charging

Smarter and faster charging

Phase balancing

Avoid interuptions with phase and load balancing

Ferroamps dynamic phase balancing reduces the risk of overload and provides smoother and up to three times faster electric car charging.

Through full integration of the electric car charger with the Ferroamp system, you also get load balancing to prevent power peaks and the opportunity to charge the car only with the surplus solar power.

Want to use the electric car battery to support the property and the electricity grid? With a Ferroamp system, the property is prepared for future V2G technology.
Phase balancing
Avoid overloading or interruptions in charging
Dynamic load balancing
Limits the power of charging when needed
Cut power peaks with a battery
Alternative to reinforcing the grid connection
charge with solar
Use the solar surplus directly to charge the car

Full integration with OCPP

Phase balancing works with all EV chargers, but in order to get the full functionality of Ferroamps EV charging, the charger needs to be able to communicate with EnergyCloud via the standardized OCPP protocol. See the list of chargers that can be integrated.

V2G chargers installed in Turku

With the possibility to both charge and discharge the electric vehicle can become an important part of the energy system and support both the building and the grid.

Ferroamp is developing a bi-directional charger, a vehicle-to-grid-charger, that can be connected to the Ferroamp system directly.

The first public chargers have been installed as a part of a research project in Turku, Finland.

More than just EV-Charging

EnergyHub is included in all Ferroamp systems together with the cloud service EnergyCloud. With solar string optimizers for solar cells and batteries, you unlock the system‘s full potential and gain control over the propertys entire electricity use.
