APIs and Integrations

How can the Ferroamp system be integrated with other systems?

The Ferroamp system has a number of integration options.

  • EnergyHub has integrations with a number of charging boxes through the OCPP 1.6-J communication protocol.
  • EnergyHub has an API integration with charging boxes from CTEK where we give the charging boxes access to measurement data over the property’s available currents based on consumption and main fuse level.
  • EnergyHub has an integration with SolarFox for visualization of production and measurement data.
  • The EnergyHub has 3 open APIs that can be used for integrations with other control and visualization systems*.

MQTT API (Ext-API)

  • Local API
  • Activated for a specific EnergyHub by Ferroamp support
  • Default mode is turned off
  • Provides access to data retrieval
  • Provides access to external control of batteries in the Ferroamp system by sending commands.

Modbus TCP

  • Local API
  • Activated for a specific EnergyHub by Ferroamp support
  • Default mode is turned off
  • Provides access to data retrieval
  • Provides access to external control of the entire Ferroamp system by sending commands.

CloudAPI

  • Cloud-based API
  • Activated for a specific EnergyHub plant ID by Ferroamp support
  • Default mode is turned off
  • Provides access to data retrieval via the cloud

To activate the integrations, contact Ferroamp support.

Can I connect my EnergyHub system to home automation systems?

Yes. It is possible to integrate the Ferroamp system with, among other things, Homey and Home assistant. Solutions for this have been built by third-party developers. For these to work, external APIs must be enabled.
