Ferroamp proceeds in development of ancillary services

Following the activation of the first bidding portfolio of Ferroamp systems in the balancing market, Ferroamp now intends, together with Ntricity, to submit documentation for pre-qualification in all bidding areas and to develop collaborations with more electricity companies. The development of ancillary services means that energy storage is becoming an increasingly important strategic area for Ferroamp.

In many municipalities, sports facilities are among the most energy-intensive buildings. This means that there are also major savings to be made. Connecting solar cells from a roof with several buildings via a PowerShare makes it possible to optimize electricity use and reduce costs.

Ferroamp initiates field tests of V2G

Ferroamp has succeeded in implementing bidirectional charging with several common electric car models and is now proceeding with field tests. It is an important step towards a new cost-effective solution for vehicle-to-grid (V2G).
