Ferroamp initiates collaboration with Vattenfall

Ferroamp and Vattenfall Försäljning have signed a cooperation agreement and thus Vattenfall Försäljning is expanding its range with energy-smart products from Ferroamp.

The Ferroamp system connects solar cells, batteries and electric car charging with the smart inverter EnergyHub, giving customers an opportunity to optimize electricity use in the property. More customers with greater flexibility in turn reduce the load on the electricity grid.

“The agreement with Vattenfall Försäljning is an important step for Ferroamp. Our system is not only of great value to property owners, but also to electricity network owners. Therefore, it feels logical to work together to create customer value,” says Kent Jonsson, CEO, Ferroamp.

Vattenfall Försäljning will start selling Ferroamp products for deliveries in 2026.

“One of the strengths of the Ferroamp system is that it is developed in Sweden and that the control is adapted to Swedish conditions,” says Johanna Porsö, Head of Business Operations.

Limit PV production at negative prices

From the turn of the year, homeowners in Sweden will lose money exporting solar power to the electricity grid when electricity prices are negative. Therefore, Ferroamp is now launching the option to automatically limit the export, even for systems that do not have a battery.
