Ferroamp is launching a new energy storage offering to homeowners. With a powerful new energy storage optimizer, ESO 15 kW, and smooth control via app, homeowners have access to a system specifically tailored to their needs in the electricity market.
“ESO 15 kW and the new software update simplify both the use and installation of batteries in the Ferroamp system. The fluctuations in the electricity market we have seen over the past year have increased demand for our flexible battery solution and now the offer to the residential segment will be even more attractive,” says Kent Jonsson, CEO, Ferroamp.
The Ferroamp system connects solar cells, batteries and electric car charging and provides optimized control that reduces the customer’s total electricity costs. The heart of the system is the EnergyHub inverter and batteries are connected via energy storage optimizers, ESOs. The ESO controls the use of the battery and determines the capacity at which the battery can be charged in and out.
The Ferroamp system can be used in everything from villas and other single-family houses to larger commercial properties and apartment buildings. In larger buildings, ESO 6 kW is used, a modular model that can be scaled up to 120 kW in larger systems.
The new ESO 15 kW is specially adapted for home systems and batteries up to 30 kWh. The solution simplifies installation and provides up to three times more power for the same price. At the same time, a software update makes it easier for homeowners to control and make settings in their system directly in the user app. In the app, it has previously been possible to monitor the system and activate the automated control FerroAI.
“When the electricity market becomes more complex, we want to make it easier for our customers. With FerroAI and a pure home offering, the customer gets a smart and user-friendly system that makes it easy to reduce their electricity costs,” says Kent Jonsson.
