Alarm

How does the alarms in the Ferroamp systems work?

Go to: EnergyCloud/ System Settings/Alarms

Alarms are triggered if EnergyHub or an SSO stops reporting data to EnergyCloud. The alarm is visible in EnergyCloud under System settings/Alarm. You can start a subscription to the alarm to be notified about them via email.

System offline

The system offline alarm continuously checks every 5 minutes if the plant publishes data to EnergyCloud.

If the facility has not published data for 1 hour, the alarm is triggered and an email is sent to the specified email address. If the facility goes back online, an email will be sent within a few minutes that the facility has gone back online.

SSO Offline

The SSO offline alarm continuously checks that all SSOs in the system report data to EnergyHub and that the values reported vary. If one or more SSOs have been missing for 24 hours, an email will be sent to the specified email address.

Alarm activation and deactivation

  1. Go to System Preferences/Alarms in EnergyCloud.
  2. Activate subscription to all alarms by pressing the green button and filling in one or more email addresses. If you only want to subscribe to one of the alarm functions, press the alarm symbol next to each alarm instead and fill in the email address there instead.
  1. To remove an email address that should no longer receive emails when the system alarms, delete it on the same page by pressing the trash can symbol to the right of the email address.

NOTE

If the plant for some reason has had an SSO replaced, it needs to be manually removed from the system topology under system settings in EnergyCloud, otherwise the alarm will be triggered because it no longer reports data.
